Troy A. Murphy, DO
Board Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine (ABFM)
Dr. Troy A. Murphy, D.O., is a board-certified family medicine physician with more than 22 years of experience caring for patients in Savannah, Georgia. He is originally from Buffalo, New York, where he graduated from the University of Buffalo. He went on to complete his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2000. Following his doctorate, Dr. Murphy completed his Family Medicine residency at Greenville Memorial Hospital in 2003.
In addition to practicing outpatient medicine, Dr. Murphy has served as the medical director of a local hospice program and nursing home. He previously served as the Program Director for the Chatham Hospitalist Group at St. Joseph/Candler Hospital System from 2020 to 2025.
With a commitment to excellence and a passion for medicine, Dr. Murphy is proud to open Steadfast Family Medicine LLC, an independent practice focused on patient-centered care, rooted in integrity and the fundamentals of medicine. He strives to offer his patients personalized attention and thoughtful medical guidance. Dr. Murphy’s approach is shaped by his training, experience, and a genuine desire to build relationships with his patients to help them achieve their health goals.
When Dr. Murphy is not working, he enjoys working out and spending time with his wife, Julie, and their two kids, Ava and Andrew. As a trusted healthcare provider, Dr. Murphy is excited to welcome both former and new patients and looks forward to being part of their health journey.
Nadia Edenfield, FNP-C
Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Nadia Edenfield, FNP-C, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a strong clinical foundation and a passion for patient-centered care. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia Southern University and completed her Master of Science in Nursing at South University, where she obtained board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner.
Prior to becoming a nurse practitioner, Nadia spent several years as a registered nurse on a step-down unit, gaining valuable hands-on experience caring for medically complex patients. She brings this bedside expertise into her advanced practice role, combining compassionate care with evidence-based medicine. Nadia is committed to ongoing learning and professional growth and is dedicated to building trusting, collaborative relationships with her patients to support their long-term health and well-being.
Outside of work, Nadia enjoys spending time with her husband, Ted, and their three children, Aidan, Bella, and Piper. She is also the proud owner of a Brittany-doodle named Betty White, who keeps life fun and active.

Sarah Yancey, PA-C, is a board-certified Physician Assistant with a passion for family medicine and building lasting relationships with her patients. Originally from the small town of Gordon, Georgia, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Georgia College & State in Milledgeville, Georgia University before completing her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies at South University in Savannah, Georgia.
While completing her undergraduate degree, she worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant in nursing home and assisted living settings, where she developed an appreciation for compassionate, hands-on patient care. Since becoming a Physician Assistant, she has spent her career in family medicine and has a special interest in women's health, pediatrics, and preventive care. She strives to build meaningful, trusting relationships with her patients, creating an environment where they feel heard, supported, and actively involved in their healthcare decisions. She is committed to providing comprehensive, evidence-based care while partnering with each patient to achieve their individual health goals.
After falling in love with Savannah during PA school, she decided to make the city her home. Outside of work, she enjoys watching the sunset from a rooftop or from a towel relaxing on the beach. She also shares her home with her two cats, Marcy and Josie.
